Thanks for your interest. The POC (People of Color) Zine Project itself is not a zine. We are an advocacy platform and experiment in activism and community through materiality. Our mission is to make zines by people of color easy to find, distribute and share. Click the “About” tab on our Tumblr for more information and take a look at recaps from our recent Race Riot! tour.

We are working on our first zine series designed to create change. Anyone who has experience living at or below the poverty line can submit.

We don’t like to make assumptions about race or gender via the Internet, however, we do have a white ally FAQ on our Tumblr. If this applies to you, please read it and if you’re interested in supporting POCZP, there are some suggestions on how to do that via the FAQ.
